Hotel "Slavutich" is situated on the left bank of Dnepr, is the biggest among three rivers in Europe. The name Slavutich, olds Slavonic of Dnepr is grounded on the placement of the hotel.

The hotel is situated about 15 minutes of running from the centre of Kiev and 22 km from International airport “Borispol”. The first guests were accepted at the hotel "Slavutich" in April 1972, at first it was called “Rusanovskaya” because it is situated on Rusanovsky island, formed by fork of Dnepr and forced ring channel. The hotel was given new modern name - "Slavutich" in August of the same year .

The building of the hotel is built according to individual project in the shape of open book inviting guests for visiting. The windows of the hotel face beautiful view on the historical monuments of Kyiv – gold-domed Kiev-Pecherska Lavra and Vydubitsky founded in 11th century.

Partial reconstruct ruction of the hotel was made in 1998 afterwards except single and double rooms “suite” and “junior suite” rooms have been offered.

Each room has bathroom with bath or shower, satellite television, access to international telephony. Superior rooms «suites» and «junior suits » are equipped with conditioner.
